Camo Not Just For Southern Folk
Don't get the wrong idea about camogrits. We do allow out of state ladies to join us on our hunts. Tracy Carlson from Buffalo, Mn. flew down to enjoy this first hunt with us. What a treat for her and us! We southern gals loved to stop and listen to her when she talked that 'yankee talk'. But by the time the three day weekend was over, she had a bit of southern drawl to her speech. She also learned a few southern things, like what laurel and holler were. And the quaint two seater outhouse, a southern tradition, greeted her once we got to our remote rustic cabin. We sincerely enjoyed her participation in this hunt and warmly adopt her as a southern sister! |
Those On the First Hunt
In the picture to the left you will see all the hunters from this first hunt. We all had a great time and look forward to our next gathering.
Names of the huntress and guides:
Huninwife/Delena, HRG/Christy,
Buckette/Sandy, CuttinCaller/Rachel, tndoe/Mary, Tracy and Kris.
Our gracious and thoughful guides were Phil Floyd and James Raley.
The hunt took place in Stewart County, Tennessee.
Several thousand rugged hills and hollars made up the land we chased hogs about.

So come on along for some tall tales of wild hog hunting from the woods of middle Tennessee. I plan on updating the site with new verisons as soon as the ladies send me their verison of the hunt weekend. It will be interesting to say the least how each lady viewed this wild weekend spent chasing hogs on the cumberland platuea.
